Hi and welcome! I’m glad you’re here.
Would you like to create a life and a home that allow enough time and space for your top priorities?
At Simplifying Mom Life you’ll find practical solutions for streamlining life’s necessities so you can focus on what matters most.
I’ve found that many moms struggle with inefficient home systems, too much clutter and too little time for themselves – which is why my passion is to help moms be more intentional with their space and more productive with their time, so that they can be more intentional with their lives.
One of the things readers love most is that they can spend less time maintaining life and more time living life, in a way that is both doable and affordable.
Maybe you’ll find something that resonates with you. I’d love for you to take a look!
My journey to simplify my own #momlife began soon after I had my daughter. I was new to being a mom and new to working from home. I began working from home full-time when my daughter was 12 weeks old.
It wasn’t long before I realized that our home systems were not functional for our new family life and I needed to find ways to streamline them so I could stay organized while focusing on work and the baby.
By the time my daughter turned one, I began to feel overwhelmed by the clutter my husband and I were accumulating. And we only had 1 child! So I decided right then and there to ruthlessly de-clutter our house and create a standard for the stuff we bring into our home. I decided how I would deal with constant clutter and set limitations on what we store and own.
I also found ways to be more productive and fit in self-care, something I hadn’t practiced until I became a mom.
To combat cabin fever as a stay-at-home mom, I decided to explore where I live and find fun things to do in Orange County with kids.
A few fun facts about me:
I grew up in Oklahoma, went to OU and got my degree in Musical Theatre.
I love dark chocolate, country music, and Arnold Palmers (iced tea with lemonade).
I also enjoy traveling and am fortunate enough to have visited over 30 countries on 4 continents. Some highlights were visiting Ephesus, Pompeii, and Iceland.
I’d love to learn a little something about you!
